LOS ANGELES -   Britney Spears filed for divorce Tuesday from Kevin Federline, officials said. The Los Angeles County Superior Court filing cites "irreconcilable differences"...

I know it is always tough to hear bad news, but it was inevitable.

Democrats take back the U.S. House of Representatives tonight. It too is inevitable, though not bad news.
Power is nothing till you use it.

Shameless election pimping at the expense of Ms. Spears...TSK, TSK!

I have yet to understand the reason that people bother to cite a reason for divorce in California.

Per California Law... The only acceptable reason for a Divorce is "IRRECONCILABLE DIFFERENCES"...

That means, this Kevin fellow could have beat her with a stick twice a day, the "cited" reason would still be the same..

But the Republicans do not have this little Luxury... They can be done away with for any number of reasons..[}:)]

Hmmmm. I've seen this before. Hey, too bad if you're in with the LOSERS! What else does Brittany have in common?

Britney has exerted her rights as a heterosexual to end another sacred marriage.

Thankfully the Republicans have protected the sanctity of marriage by keeping the homos out and keeping it appealing enough for Britney to do it for a third time.

Republican's protection of the sanctity of marriage:

Ronald Reagan - divorced, but apparently against his desire.

Bob Dole--divorced

Newt Gingrich - divorced his wife who was dying of cancer.

Dick Armey - House Majority Leader - divorced.

Senator Phil Gramm of Texas - divorced.

Governor John Engler of Michigan - divorced.

Governor Pete Wilson of California - divorced.

George Will - divorced.

Senator Lauch Faircloth - divorced.

Rush Limbaugh - and his former wife, Marta, had six marriages and four divorces between them. Now make that seven marriages.

Senator Bob Barr of Georgia - not yet 50 years old, has been married three times. He had the audacity to author and push the "Defense of Marriage Act." The current joke making the rounds on Capitol Hill is "Bob Barr - WHICH marriage are you defending?!?)

Senator Alfonse D'Amato of New York - divorced.

Senator John Warner of Virginia - divorced Elizabeth Taylor.

Governor George Allen of Virginia - divorced.

Representative Helen Chenoweth of Idaho - divorced.

Senator John McCain of Arizona - divorced.

Representative John Kasich of Ohio - divorced.

Representative Susan Molinari of New York (Republican National Convention Keynote Speaker) - divorced.

Nelson Rockefeller -- may have lost a presidential nomination because of his divorce.

He married banking heiress Catherine Mellon before Taylor: Surely he got enough palimony to sustain Ms. Taylor.

He is currently on his third marriage and still claiming his defense of the sanctity of marriage.
