Mayor takes trip to India/China

Is there a real reason she is going to India and China?   While I understand that she needs to "get away" once in a while... One would think there is more than enough work to do around here.

Oh, and any insight on who is paying for the trip if it isn't city dollars?  If someone can figure that out, then we all should be able to quickly deduce who she will pander to next.

These overseas junkets are just pleasure trips in disguise.  So the City may not be paying for it; Her Honor ought to keep her donkey at home and address more important issues, like the 4 murders we have had in Tulsa in the past 7 days.

Someone took a look at the "Great Wall" and thought, these people, for the right $price$ may get this River thing done at a fraction of the cost...

They will require the workers to stay in either a Hotel or Motel the entire time they are working on the project...

Wow, it's a shame the Camelot is already coming down.  Would have been better digs than they got back home in India or China.

No, I don't believe the mayor had any connection to the recent rash of murders.  But she should be concentrating city efforts on increasing personnel on our police force, increasing police visibility and neighborhood patrols, and not tooting off to some useless overseas trip.
