My wife and I have never gotten around to buying a food processor.  We are thinking about purchasing one and have read that the KitchenAid KFP750 12 cup machine was about the best on the market.  Any comments on food processors in general?  Do they really make food prep easier? Thanks in advance.

Power is nothing till you use it.

I'm liking the small work bowl that is available on the Kitchen Aid.  However, I've done lots of commercial chopping in my life and the Cuisinart that I've owned since 1994 just keeps on slicing and dicing.

I have a Euro-Pro. Euro-pro is not exactly a major name but they put 4 blades and it turns about warp speed. I tried to chop chicken and accidentally pureed it. Like 5 split breasts in about 30 seconds.

They are very plastic though.

it's all the same I guess but it depends on the make and use.

My sister who cooks with a processor all the time cautioned my wife about over pulsing lettuce. She said you will be eating it with a spoon.
