Monday March 17 2008 from 12:10 pm until 12:50 pm. This event will be held at Central Library Aaronson Auditorium.
Itai Lavi, current Israeli representative for the Jewish and Tulsa community, will review "The Lemon Tree" by Sandy Tolan. In this true story about two families, one Arab, one Jewish, set in the small town of Ramla, Bashir's family had been driven out and Dalia's family from Bulgaria occupies the home Bashir grew up in. Dialogue between Bashir and Dalia gives hope for future reconciliation.
