Conan, the beer will not be required to be 3.2, correct?  I think it was discussed earlier in the post, but that is because the brewery will not also be a food venue, correct?  So we will be able to buy the beer in local liquor stores.  Will we also be able to buy it at the brewery itself?  Drink it at the brewery?  Thanks, I think some of this has already been answered throughout this thread, but it would be nice to have it all in one place.

BG- I'm going to take a spin by there this afternoon to check on a couple of things.  Eric and I have talked about this in the past, let's just say I've drank some strong beer in the interim and don't remember all the details on alcohol content and distribution.  I can tell you for certain that Marshall will be available on tap at bars around town.  He's got bottling lines and keg lines.

Oklahoma's laws are pretty convoluted on all this, at least in my opinion.

Considered driving by there just to scope it out today... that's right, I'm a beer stalker. [8)]

I went by the brewery this morning.  Eric was not there yet, but I did talk to him by phone.  He's wanting to start brewing within two weeks, but there's still a pretty good amount of work to finish up.  My guess is still three to four weeks away.

As far as distribution, I don't know if he's got it nailed down more specifically.  For certain, McNellie's will be selling his beer and other bars.  If I get back down there this afternoon, I'll see if he's got more commitments on distribution.

Thanks Conan.  I am specifically interested in knowing (i) whether I will be able to purchase this beer at liquor stores (ii) whether the beer will be required to be 3.2% abv or less and (iii) whether the brewery location itself will be a bar serving its own beer.

I can tell you for certain there will be no bar at the brewery.  Sales from the brewery will be strictly wholesale to licensed distributors, unless anything has changed since I last talked to Eric about that specifically.  IOW, you or I can't just walk up to the back door and ask to buy a case of IPA.

Oklahoma's alcohol distribution laws are so screwed up, we are fortunate that he was willing to even build this in the state, IMO.
