I went to the Metropolitan Environmental Trust's spring household pollutant collection at Expo Square yesterday.  I was amazed how well it was coordinated.

I wish everything was done so well.

Congrats on the great work Michael.

Thank you.

It is because I have a great staff and an amazing group of volunteers.

OT for you, but do you know where the heck I can dispose of dead 48" flourescent tubes? Will my local center be able to take them?

RecycleMichael

No.

You should have brought them to this event. I collected over 1,000 of them this past weekend.

I will have the next Fairgrounds Pollutant Collection event the last weekend in October.

I'm sure you've posted this info before but the in-laws asked me to find out how they should dispose of their household spiral fluorescent bulbs.  Apparently they used them on a dimmer switch and they don't last the 7 years that way.

The same place and time.

I wish I could offer this service more often, but the cost is unbelievable. I am lucky to scrape up enough begging to do it twice a year.

Thanks.

Have you tried following people around while crying?  I mean real crying, like a child in a grocery store who didn't get the cereal he wanted kind of crying.

sgrizzle

It only costs me $14 a month to have my household pollutants picked up twice a week and I don't even have to leave the house...
