Ted's fajita's are outstanding. If dog food tasted that good, I could save a fortune on food expenses. However, I feel confident in the tex- mex quality of Ted's if Inteller doesn't like it. I don't think we have ever agreed on anything.

Ted's fajitas are probably made from dog.

Sorry, but any dump that brings out warmed up velveeta in a bowl and calls it queso is major FAIL in my book.  And I don't think there are too many people named Ted south of the border.

Absolutely.  I forgot about that, and the fact that their salsa almost reminded me of Pace....

I have yet to find a decent Tex Mex place in this town.  I went to Agave yesterday hoping; all that place is to me is El Tequila's North...

El Tequil and Agave are owned by the same people.

I'm glad you two don't like Ted's. That is two people I don't have to worry about being ahead of me in the 1-2 hour wait line on the weekends.  Now if you can just convince about 100-200 more people that would be extremely helpful.

If 100 to 200 people would figure out that Ted's isn't real Tex Mex, you'd have yourself a shorter wait.

Unfortunately, most of the lunch/dinner consuming public isn't that scrutinizing when it comes to TexMex.

yes, but I like the service and the odd location at 81st/Memorial.  The shape of that building forces them to do odd seating arrangements.  It gives it an appropriate amount of corniness.  They also put more cheap donkey tequila in the margs at El Tequila.

And MH, the same okie rubes who go to ted's and think it is good are the same people that think Bejing Gourmet Chinese buffet is good Chinese food.

If you go to Ted's you are precluded from making good dining suggestions.

I'm sure we will never eat together so you don't have to worry about my dining suggestions.

I could follow up your shot at me with some personal shots at you but frankly, you're not worth the time or little effort it would take.

Isn't that what Tex-mex basically is? Lots of grease, ground beef, easy cheese, and picante?

Not knocking it because it is good for what it is, but its hardly gourmet...
