Pointing to fallen Republicans when something like this happens to a beloved Democrat is nothing more than twisted self-justification.

We need to expect more out of all leaders, regardless of party affiliation.  I'm assessing a 15 yard penalty to StanOU for "piling on".  [}:)] I mean, really, let's throw in a bunch of preachers and low-level GOP party operatives to justify Edwards twisting off on his wife while she's suffering from cancer.

Edwards is a POS and a dude.  Two Americas indeed, his and everyone else's.

Don't forget the GOP is supposedly the party of "family values" and those sixty pedophiles are high profile party members.  I don't think you would like to see a list of ALL GOP sex criminals.  The pious self-righteousness of your party dictates the tacit message that Dems are inherently evil/corrupt/deviant/what have you and the GOP can do no wrong.  Well guess what my friend, IT CAN!  That is the whole point of republicanoffenders.com.  I in no way, shape or form approve of Edwards' public infidelity however, to my knowledge he has NOT committed a state or federal crime.  You can't say that about those five pages of fellow Repubs.

You think I'm piling on?  Just wait.  We'll cut open that GOP cloak of piety and let out ALL the rats.

High profile???

Republican candidate for Mineral County Commission, W.VA, Wilton Frederick Bland

The Republican Mayor of Collins Missouri, and Pastor of the Temple Lot Church in Collins, Allen D. Kauffman

Well connected Republican activist and
Congressional aide, Jeffrey Nielsen

Republican and U.S. Attorney from Florida, John David R. Atchison

Republican Paul Skiles and Republican William Gillin...Gillin, a college administrator, and Skiles, who owns a Christian bookstore... Gee they left out co-defendant Jeffrey Haire, a former UPJ police officer... he must be a Democrat. (other than being registered Republicans, there is no mention they even have anything to do with elected office or party politics)

A bunch of county commissioners, election board workers, an HR person for the Washington Times.

Hardly prominent Republicans.  I've been registered in the GOP party since 1984 and cannot say I recognize a single name from the "five pages".  If they are prominent, then they aren't around my 'hood.

Even though you use the logic of Edwards not breaking any laws as making him somehow better, it's also escaped you that some of the people you label as "pedophiles" have been charged and not convicted of anything yet.

Child molesters are the worst of the worst and don't deserve a break.  You are making light of a severe societal ill as being some sort of partisan political issue, to promote your own agenda and it's sick.  Finding any glee in a Republican being labeled "pedophile" is perverse in itself, especially since you have an agenda you are peddling here.

There are lists of all the Democrat deviants out there, but there's no point in posting it.  Why?  Because we should demand better morals out of all our leaders.  Party affiliation is no excuse, nor cause for moral failings.

Why don't you keep your twisted logic on your narcissistic little blog (why do you think anyone would anyone care why you flipped from an Ind. to Dem enough for you to create a blog devoted to it?) and spare the thinking people on this forum your partisan hack clap trap.

High profile meaning leaders/activists at levels higher than rank and file members.

I can understand why this upsets you because it is in your face and not going away.  Spin it however you please and while you're writhing in the ecstacy of yet another morally discredited Democrat like Edwards just remember the GOP crap is piling up by the week (don't forget Ted Stevens).

I usually don't post stuff from my blog on other boards but I've been waiting for an opportunity like this just so I can watch a partisan idiot like you throw a world class hissyfit!  Good job, BTW. [:D]

Media Go Wild Over Edwards' Infidelities, But Continue to Ignore Those of McCain

http://www.skeeterbitesreport.com/2008/08/media-go-wild-over-edwards-infidelities.html

"Carol Shepp McCain, former wife of Republican presidential nominee-elect John McCain, emerges from her car near her home in Virginia Beach, Virginia, The Arizona senator's ex, now 70, stayed faithful to him throughout his ordeal as a prisoner of war in Vietnam. But after she was severely injured -- and disfigured -- in a 1969 car crash, the man who's now running for president carried on a series of extramarital affairs."

You've been waiting for this???!!!! You have actually been waiting for this moment????

Now you can show those mean republicans that you mean business! All of those people that picked on you in elementary, jr. high, high school and college. Surely, they were republicans and now you can have your revenge!

Wow. How does it feel to know that your life is now complete. You're life has just peaked on a message board. You should go back to your "blog". It loves you unconditionally.

Easy on the ad hominem attack there.  Apparently piling on will get you penalized 15 yards on this board.[:D]
