Has anyone had any experience with this machine?

Nope, but what problem are you having? There is generally little difference between models.

After buying three HP's in the last year, I've about sworn them off.  I hate the "viral" software which comes with them.  I'm not enough of a geek to know what components to remove from their installs.

I don't use the cd that comes with them. Generally you can go to support.hp.com and get the "print driver only" package for most of their printers.

I'm on my 4th HP printer in about 15 years. First died in a lightning strike, second had some sort of issues with the connectors to the black cartridge but that was after about 7 years of use. My last one had a plastic tab break that I'm not sure if it was the printer's fault or mine but it was about 3 years old. Just bought another one and don't like the fact the all-in-ones are cheaper than just plain printers.

I had a Brother prior to buying my HP 5610 and there is a world of difference. That Brother was a piece of junk. Everything in our office is now HP even the wide format plotters.
