So Red Arrow, I guess that makes you psychic... or an elitist.... or both...

"Your income is next?" Who do you think you are? Nostrademus?!?

Yeah, like the way Bill Clinton raised my taxes???? Not.

The Clinton administration gave us budget surpluses while your Bush administration and its sidekick Republican congress will have a legacy that will force future generations of Americans to either pay higher taxes or watch helplessly while working class seniors face draconian cuts in social security and/or medicare...

I want to shrink the size of Grover Nordquist's dittohead followers until they can be strangled in a bathtub...

Same ol' scare tactics from you anti-tax nutjobs. Same ol' arrogance. Use of fear. Pathelogical LYING about who's affected by Obama's tax plan....

You republican cheerleaders for OLIGARCHY and ENTRENCHED WEALTH AND PRIVILEDGE seem to have an intense disdain for the working poor... and you have fooled me into believing your CRAP about taxes before....

My taxes went up.... UNDER RONALD REAGAN!!!

And for the greater part of a decade working part time jobs while full-time in college, I watched as Ronald Reagan gave huge tax cuts for the wealthy that were supposed to trickle down, stimulate the economy and magically reduce the federal deficit.... it didn't happen that way, no matter how you guys keep trying to re-write history...

Reaganomics in the 80s dispensed upon us the Gramm-Rudman budget cuts.... AND I DO NOT WANT ANY OTHER STRUGGLING COLLEGE STUDENTS IN THEIR TWENTIES TO HAVE TO GO THROUGH WHAT ME AND MANY MANY OTHER STUDENTS HAD TO GO THROUGH...

You use the same FEAR TACTICS YOUR MISERABLE PARTY USED AGAINST THE CLINTON TAX CODE: it would be the biggest tax increase EVER!

Yet taxes weren't raised on the middle class in the Clinton era... the Bush tax cuts for inheritance and estate taxes were horribly irresponsible and the legacy left behind will make life harder over the long run for almost everybody who isn't related to Sam Walton....

Republican elitist class warfare has succeeded in duping the likes of Joe-the-Plumber...

That's a cheap copout, RA.

Life is personal.
Politics is personal.
Opinions are personal.

I supported Barack HUSSEIN Obama over the course of years while watching the CONSERVATIVE MEDIA turn him into a person I almost didn't recognize.

I watched as the jackbooted thugs of the republican party tried to turn him into a terrorist radical... and a socialist/communist/marxist.... and a traitor to his country.... in the fine tradition of Karl Rove and Lee Atwater...

I NEVER referred to John McCain as a traitor or a terrorist...

I am THRILLED that Barack Obama is now President of the United States.  I feel alot like the Reagan supporters must've felt in 1980.

Pebbles

I am one of those sorts that have friends in both camps and can flit in between them with ease.  I am decidely Republican and yet some of the things I hear from my compratiots are a little alarming, not unlike the OP's stance.  I must be seeing things differently because I don't get some of the things said about Obama by the Replublican right, such as "Obamination" -- plays on his name, that sort of stuff.  It is not classy I think.

In short, no one can predict doom and gloom and any one who thinks they can should be aware that of the proverb that says, "Do not boast about tomorrow,
for you do not know what a day may bring forth."

Good luck President Obama, and thanks President Bush... you were tested by 9/11 and held the nation together.

Thank you Crash,

That's just the sort of rhetoric that has lost your party the election. The people are tired of hearing the condescending hateful remarks of you and your brethren, and they chose integrity over fear mongering.

Today is a new day.

McCain = slow deterioration

Obama = Jet pack to the end

No good choice, but someone stated that no matter who is elected, it's not the end of the world. No, but if Obama is elected, it is the end of the United States of America, as our founding fathers envisioned it. Considering our place in the world, I HATE him for what he will do. Hate is a strong word. I haven't used it for a living individual IN MY LIFE.

Recessions come in cycles, and DIIIIMS use them to destroy the founding principals that got us here in the first place. I DO MEAN DIM. You nit wits are too F'n stupid to see what got us here in the first place and want to replace our system with one historically proven to fail. I wish you numb nuts would've kept your promise and moved to some other country when Bush was re-elected. Most of them already have your system of F'd up government anyway, so you would have been happy in your dumpster.

Sorry, had to vent. You suck, but supposedly you're patriotic and actually believe in America. Sorry again comrades. To bad our constitution isn't good enough for you.

Damn, I meant to reach across the isle on that one. You suck so bad, it's just impossible. It's like making friends with with a burglar as he rapes your daughter. The constitution is the daughter, by the way. I'm certain you missed it or you'd be a Republican.

No, if Body Odor wins, we won't riot. It's a testament to our character, as compared to yours. You know what I mean. Above all else, to thine own self be true. Stop acting like God fearing, constitution loving, patriotic Americans and just be who you really are. I know, I know, you're patriotic Americans too. So long as you can scrap our heritage, institutions and constitution. But whose to judge, right?

You sound like the typical Jerry Springer watcher/voter for Palin.

If you don't like taking your medicine, tell your Mommy to hide it in a piece of bread. Then, happy unicorns and butterflies will visit you.

I'm standing behind President Elect Obama. I think it's what is best for the country.

I personally hope he is the most successful President in US history.

Wanting him to fail because he wasn't "your" candidate is wrong, IMO.

I wish him the best; it's what is best for this country.

Let's come together folks. I was inspired by his speech last night.
