I took 3 different tests that would use different methods to tally a list of likely careers. The top career every single one of them said I should go for was Anthropologist lol. Sounded great, still find it fascinating, but I couldn't see how I could make any money at it though lol. So here I ended up being an artist, go figure. I would have liked to have been an archaeologist as well aka "an anthropologist who studies prehistoric people and their culture"... actually I get to do a lot of that when I am on here anyway. [:P]

"When you only have two pennies left in the world, buy a loaf of bread with one, and a lily with the other."-Chinese proverb. "Arts a staple. Like bread or wine or a warm coat in winter. Those who think it is a luxury have only a fragment of a mind. Mans spirit grows hungry for art in the same way h

Holy crap Artist... are you telling me that before spending money and years of your life in college studying something that you spent 5 minutes considering whether or not it would be a good career choice?

If only more college prospects would do that.

If you really wanted to do it and were willing to accept that it would likely be a failing career then so be it.  But soooo many people get a sociology degree and then graduate and are pissed that they are only marginally more employable.  Argh.

Education for educations sake is a good thing, but be aware what you are getting in to.

In today's world education has replaced the joy of living as nature intended.  In a recent obituary was the details of a boy who grew up with one of my son's.
His education included: CPA, cleared to practiced before IRS,
Captain in armed forces in Nam, professor at Phoenix and Tulsa, Employed as professor by US in islands, three years law student.  Looking out the window in class watched a 18 wheeler going by and thought "That fellow just guides that truck down the road while others load and unload it for him."  Trained for truck driving, spent 3 years.
Considered as a vagabond of nature, forced into a world of  uncertainty that shunned the laws of nature, shot himself. The cane with the gold ball on it gathers dust of the ages.

Tomorrow we will enter into the plea to have it torn away.

Earlier, you felt the need to apologize for your relative lack of communication skills.  My comments about going back to school were solely in regard to enable to feel better about that.  I intended nothing about your value as a person, your career choice, or society's impression of you. If you go back to school, do it for yourself.  Good Luck.
