Sales Tax reports for March 2010 have been posted.  This includes taxes collected between January 16th to January 31st and esti- mated sales from February 1st to February 15th.

It appears the we continue to see declines in Sales Tax.  Only Glenpool and Collinsville saw increases.

I have posted various communities below with collections this year as opposed to last year and the percentage of increase or decrease.

The decline might be there, but it is no worse than projections, actually just a few thousand above, at least according to the projection the mayor provided to the police department (funny they didn't use those numbers last month because that reflected a increase FROM projected, I understand revenues are down significantly from last year).  If the Mayor's office tries to say how bad things are going, I might explode, they are right on projections.

I took a picture of the document from my computer screen if someone will tell me how to upload it, I will.  The projected revenue check for March was supposed to be $14,941,000 . . . .
