He doesn't lack leadership skill so much as the constitution to impose his will. He constantly seeks consensus, even where there is none to be had. He isn't the head-knocking type, unfortunately.

I wish he had the stones to scrap the current healthcare bill and start over with something more akin to what Warren Buffett thinks is necessary.
