^yes youngtulsan, according to the o.p. article, this is going to be a "heated debate" (probably lacking strong reasoning) in Congress for the next weeks.  So, what new things need to be said, that have not already been said?

In the interest of fiscal conservatism, benefits can't be indefinite.  But if they are cut off, what other Gov't sponsored social assistance programs will these people be shifted off to? Seems like it's a net drain on resources either way. Forcing people off U/E benefits won't necessarily create an uptick in jobs. It will certainly lower the U/E rate as presently measured.
