Love Turn Back the Clock night.  After doing research these are the sweaters worn by the 93-94 Oilers, the second year of the reborn CHL.  These would be the road sweaters.  Behind the pinstripe (95-96 thru 97-98) these are my favorites.

Beating a team 7-3 you haven't beaten in 16 tries doesn't hurt either.   :)

How'd you determine that it was 93-94?  The reason I ask, is that Steve McCall told me that these were 92-93.

Steve is wrong.  The 92-93 sweaters front patch had a white backing, even on the road sweaters.  These don't.  Neither did the 93-94.  These are the 93-94 sweaters.

Did they have a good sized crowd that night? Looks like a few more people in the seats in that top picture.

A tad over 6400, best crowd of the season.  It was pretty fun.  And loud.  Although we've had half that on occasion and it can get real loud, Saturday night was exceptional.

After going 3-11-1 to start the season, the Oilers record since is 16-7-0.  Not bad.  Record as of today (01/19/11) is 19-18-1 for 39 points.  The CHL has a 66 game season.
