Much to the surprise of those like Joe Westervelt, people actually WANT form-based codes....

Ooooh!  Does this mean I might be relegated up to being people too?

  One question.  Are the Form Based codes actually in place in the Pearl District at this point?

Only in the park and condos. Expanding it down 6th has still been blocked. Joe Westervelt said it should be stricken because no-one wants it, while at the same time this business actually applied for it.

a bit over-dramatic to say that excluding a couple buildings would be the death-blow to an idea that could work anywhere in the city.

Could work anywhere in the city? They have been trying and trying for about 20 years here with little success.  And really, there are plenty of areas where this would not be at all practical.  Actually most of Tulsa.

I'm not sure that FBC will work in the more car centric parts of the city, and that is fine. I think an FBC overlay makes a lot of sense for Riverside/Peoria,  Utica to Peoria at Cherry Street, 11th St and 6th St and downtown.
