Since its almost all over, thankfully, I for one would like to submit one political ad as the very worst of the lot. My top contender? An ad against Jari Askins that states "when asked about her view of gay marriage she said she was TOLERANT! Let her know that liberal view  doesn't fit with Oklahoma values...."

So basically, Okie values do not include tolerance? Anyone who is tolerant of gay marriage is a Liberal? And ...Jari must be the only politician I know who uses single word sentences to answer complex issues (very doubtful).

Making Okies look bad is a full time job. Anyone else have a nomination?

LOL - I saw the thread topic and was coming in to drop that very add in.  Tolerance=bad, Jari=Liberal.  OK, this is too much.  This it smacks of being developed by a crew of juvenile morons.
BTW - I think Jari Askins is about the easiest choice on the ballot , but regardless fo who I favor I think that is clearly the most ridiculous ad going and I expect Hiett to lose votes over it.

Yeah, that ad made me sick to my stomach.  Goodness, don't vote for Jari, she's TOLERANT.  I guess that means Hiett is intolerant, and that's his selling point.

I regret that I never got to see the E.T. commercial.  I heard it was so bad, it was comical.

The ET ad was hillarious, I'm hoping they put it on U-Tube.  BTW- I voted for Jari, Hiett was pathetic in his campaigning.

Another which belongs in the hall-of-shame was Istook's desperate last-gasp ad running last night with Brad Henry saying at the '04 Democratic National Convention: "The next president John Kerry!"

Basically implying that Henry is a classic liberal, which couldn't be further from the truth.

I'm a registered Republican and out of the state offices, not including state rep/senator, I voted for all but one or two Democrats.  I work in a field heavily regulated by the Labor Commission and Brenda Reneau has done a fantastic job there.

I was disappointed in the state auditor's race we had a broker for some of the Stipe brother's slimy business dealings being opposed by another documented crook and tax cheat.
