Damn.  Fractured one of their skulls.  I'm glad they decided not to prosecute.  It might have been a little excessive after the 10th strike, but some of the details indicate they were trying to get up.  If you're getting the beating of your life, you'd best stay down until someone stops him or he tires.

One of the comments on CNN's reporting of the grand jury dismissal?

Only in New York or Illinois or England would they try to charge someone defending himself.  (One shot each from a .45 would have solved the problem much quicker.)
