I hope everyone takes a moment to stop and reflect on the sacrifice that American Veterans have made for each of us.

I am quite a peacenik, but will always be grateful for the commitment made by millions of Americans to keep our homeland safe.

I have many in my family who have served and plan to spend part of my Monday finding ways to thank or remember each of them.

While most of the country celebrated Veteran's day on Sunday, there is a parade tomorrow in downtown Tulsa. It starts at 11 am and this year will begin at 6th and Cincinnati, go south to 10th Street where participants will turn east, the parade will continue to Elgin before turning north and ending at 6th Street.

If you can, go down and applaud these true heroes.

You are soooo right!!

One thing anyone can do to thank them is to make some Thank You cards and hand them out to the Veterans that are all over the parade. They can also be sent to the Veterans hospitals around the country. It's also a great Valentines Day project.

While I'm not a Veteran, I'll be walking in the parade today helping to carry the big U.S. Flag.
Thanks to the Veterans, we are able to have a parade that honors THEM and not some childlish, scared, selfish, paranoid, murderous, despot.
It's the least we can do.

Freedom isn't free.

I'm thankful for our Vets and active duty military every day.

I agree Guido.

Golden Corral is cool to give free meals today to all veterans.
