I think it quite unusual that Carol Lambert has been with the local ABC Ch. 8 for like 25-30 years now.  I remember when she first joined Ch. 8 and was a young perky blonde.  She must have found her niche and home, and is very comfortable in her position.  Can't fault her for that.  I guess it is testimonial to her popularity that she has been with the station for so long, as most local news personnel seem to come and go on a five year cycle.

I still miss Don Woods & Gusty, Lee Woodward & King Lionel, Mac Creager sports, etc.

I know one of the KJRH staff that left within the past year and she said she was moving on to a larger market to further her career.

Local TV  news coverage is LACKING. Where is the LOCAL investigating news??? We have TONS of real actual NEWS to cover right here in the area. We get little stories that just take 20 minutes to think up run out and shoot and then play on the local news. I have told a lot of my friends this (TV sales) they agreed 50/50 that I was correct. They could have done a story on how the Minnonite(sp?) were doing during the power outage (what power outage?)
Natalie Sentz is a real looker and nice as the day is long. Hi Natalie....from that Realtor that bbq's. Big wink to you!

And just to read from a teleprompter and adlib a little banter with the coanchor and/or the TV audience at home, to be paid relatively well for their efforts! I hear Shepard Smith on Fox News will get $8m a year for simply anchoring and whatever else he does.

Are we in the wrong racket in terms of our jobs? Seems like news anchor is the way to go!
