I need to go in an demand a commission, see what this post started? [}:)]

My wife and I are very partial to the Pie Hole and Umberto's.  I think I'm going to have to try their pizza and see if it stacks up.

Just goes to prove the best advertising is a satisfied customer.

I had a vendor come take me to lunch, any place of my choosing.  We got the supreme pizza.  I've eaten a lot of non-chain and chain pizza in my life (it shows)[;)] and this was excellent to outstanding.

Are the pizza's thin crust like they make them in Italy?

Conan71

Thin and round as I remember.  Seems like every pizza I had in Italy was a large rectangular cookie sheet size.

I have never been to Italy...but the pizza is a thin crust type.

We went there a couple of weeks ago on a Saturday night. The wife had some baked lasagna type dish and her friend had some baked ziti dish. I got the large pizza and a to-go box after two big slices. We ate the bread while waiting and they brought us a few hot rolls out of the oven every few minutes while we waited.

Everything was great and the bill with tip was under fifty dollars.

My only complaint was the quality of the television sets. Both of the ones I could see were so old that the picture was almost unrecognizable. The tubes were gone or something to make the colors all black and red. I am one of those peope that if a television set is on, I continually glance at it.

Food and service...four stars
Price for quality...five stars
Television sets...one star.
Power is nothing till you use it.

I would not want a television in the restaurant!

Sometimes it's useful.  I got to watch the last 25 laps of the Daytona 500 at Billy Sims' Sunday night.

I have ate at the one in Owasso for lunch.  It was good.  My only disappointment was that they did not serve Bruschetta as an appetizer.   Had the stuffed mushrooms and they were tasty.
Trust but verify

We finally ordered food from Napoli's.  Couldn't go out to eat because I'm still under the weather[|)]

I had Eggplant Rollatini and it was very tasty.  I don't care for eggplant, but since I cannot eat wheat/gluten, figured this was my best shot.  Would order this meal again.

My husband had Shrimp Scaloppini and he thought it was okay, nothing to scream about.  On a scale of 1-10 he would rate his dish a 6. He would not order this dish again.

My daughter had Pasta sampler which came with Ravioli, lasagna and manicotti.  She did not care for the Ravioli, and said it tasted kind of blah.

My son had Spaghetti with Italian sausage and he thought they gave too little meat in this dish, but the taste was good.  He would try something different next time.
