"Turn up your racism radars, Democrats; and your sexism radars. These rumors, smears and exaggerated mischaracterizations are a tried and true, right-wing, divide and conquer strategy. Please, recognize the junk you are receiving, whether in emails and internet talk boards (anonymous), or in the airwaves (dominated by conservative infrastructure), as the manipulative misinformation and misdirection that it is."

Turn on your socialist radars as well......

While I'm not that alarmed by the flag, I fail to see the racism or sexism in the story.  Seems pretty straight to me.

The reason I'm not that alarmed is because I assume Obama had nothing to do with it.  If he did, he's a total fool.  Generally most people who have Che crap have no idea what the man really stood for nor what he actually did.  I assume his young staffers or volunteers want to associate with the "revolutionary" image Che has - probably ignorant of the actual facts.

Foolish, and I bet they pay for it now.

Next thing you know, the nutjobs will dredge up "evidence" that Obama stepped on a puppy's paw when he was four.

Jeez Louise, how lame this stuff is.

I agree, I think that many young people are attracted by revolutionary figures and just don't have the intellectual faculties to understand what some of these figures really stood for.

I do some work with a young lady who has Mao posters and statues in her office because she "loves Chinese art,"  She has no idea who Mao is, or what he really stood for, or how many died at his whimsy.  She also has her Obama bumper-sticker pinned up right next to her poster of Mao.  I don't think this means she also supports communist dictators.  It just means that Obama appeals to the same sensibilities.

Supporters view Obama as a revolutionary force for change with no understanding of how he intends to accomplish this change, or what the change is?  He is actually a very lucky politician to have this type of following.

So many candidates are tasked with the difficult process of providing a logical process for the changes they intend to make, and a definitive list of the platforms they stand for. We actually ask most of our candidates how much their positions will cost the american people.

"Revolutionary" candidates only have to promise "Change".  If they do provide a platform, they are free to promise miracles, because the more outlandish their guarantees, the more attractive they become to these types of voters.

Obama is going to continue to attract the revolutionary fringe, so I wouldn't give icons and images that surround him and his people too much credence.  The far right will try to crucify him for things like this, but it will only serve to weaken them.  He is now a cult of personality, so any attack on his politics at this point will backfire on the attacker.

It will certainly be interesting to watch!
When attacked by a mob of clowns, always go for the juggler.
