Vane Lucas, senior vice president, Bank of Oklahoma Financial Institute, will review "They Made America: From the Steam Engine to the Search Engine: Two Centuries of Innovators" by Harold Evans, with Gail Buckland and David Lefer. This is a comprehensive book on the most inventive minds in history. Who gave everyman high-qualilty sound and was driven to suicide? Who opened the world of international air travel to the masses? These innovators, many lost to history, forcefully come to life in this fascinating book.
Monday March 24 2008 from 12:10 pm until 12:50 pm. This event will be held at Central Library Aaronson Auditorium.
