"Unlike Clinton, Obama arrived at law school unheralded by the media, unencumbered by preconceptions. But at 27, having spent the previous four years working as a community organizer in inner-city Chicago, having been raised in Hawaii and Indonesia, having traveled to Africa, he was more worldly, more fully baked, than Clinton was at Yale."

Okay, made you look.  Actually, a pretty good article if you are into a long read:

New York Magazine

Obama has admitted drug use anyway.  Pot, cocaine, and underage drinking.  Frankly, unless I know someone pretty well I am doubtful of their "I never" assertions.

quote:
"When I was a kid, I inhaled.

"That was the point," Obama told an audience of magazine editors.

In his 1996 memoir, "Dreams From My Father: A Story of Race and Inheritance," Obama wrote candidly about his high school-era drug use: "Pot had helped, and booze; maybe a little blow when you could afford it. Not smack, though."

Ohhhhh you meant illicit drug use.  I was going to suggest something to perk him up.  He makes Lincoln seem excitable.

these are just youthful indiscretions.
it serves no purpose to talk of such personal matters.
it's time 'honor & dignity' has been restored to the White House.

hey that crap worked once.  why wouldn't it work now?

Very nice article.  It's good to hear a little about Hillary and how she and Bill work together.  He's the one with who's telegenic and charismatic, even though by all accounts she's the warm and friendly one in person.  It's sad that their public lives get portrayed in exactly the opposite way.

And it's nice to hear that, at least when he was at the Harvard Review, Obama's the inclusive, circumspect, and liberal guy he says he is.

Good news for all Democrats! [;)]

Okay, obviously some of you missed the blatant  humor in that paragraph:

"more fully baked, than Clinton was at Yale"

Quit taking yerselves so serious, either that or put down the bong long enough to re-read it.

Wevus, you are right, it was a good read.

So what you're saying is that Obama can't cook because he is a man?  [:D]

Larry's looking pretty rough.  Looks like he's been taking the dirt nap for the last year.
