What a deadlocked Democratic Convention might look like, as scripted for television by a West Wing writer and co-producer.

Warning:  a bit lengthy, and contains some bad words and a risque bit at the beginning.

Episode 1:  Four Days in Denver

Hometown

I found this bit of information from the Sunday Tulsa World very telling.

"More than 50 percent of Democrats are for Hillary Clinton," said Jo Glenn, who brought summaries of polling results and Electoral College projections from across the country. "The only reason Barack Obama has a lead at all is because some states let independents and Republicans vote in the Democratic primary.

"It's that pesky 50 percent for Clinton that the media tends to ignore," said Glenn."

Frankly, I don't like Republicans and Independents deciding who my candidate will be.

I don't know where Glenn gets those numbers. He doesn't cite to anything.  According to Gallup, democratic & democratic leaning voters (I assume independents) choose Obama 50% to 41%.

You may not want independents choosing "your" candidate, but since they will be choosing our president, don't you want the one that is most likely to win?

Democrats have been voting in republican primaries. One of the reasons that McCain, who the majority of Republicans don't like, is the candidate.

I wouldn't expect that Republicans would do anything other than add another chapter to the book on dirty tricks.

Maybe we can make the necessary adjustments at the Convention.

If we filter out the DINO's and RINO's, who would go?

Hometown

Republicans have blown one opportunity after another to become the majority party.

Democrats are still the majority party.

If we could ever get the Reagan Democrats to come home we would have a voting majority and we wouldn't need swing voters to win the White House.  All we would have to do to win is make sure our people get out and vote.

Nope....you'd have to find a new candidate......McCain't Reagan.

To borrow a phrase from Reagan, they didn't leave the Democratic Party, the party left them. The Democratic Party would have to return to social conservatism and an assertive foreign policy in order to win back their votes.

Nope, first the republicans would have to follow Ronnie's Lebanon strategy for Iraq and then agree to bail on compassionate conservatism while at the same time getting back to balancing our budget......

Oh, I think getting back justice in the Justice Department might also be criteria....

Were you conscious during the last 8 years when Republicans were the majority party?  Have you seen Congress' approval ratings lately?  Looks like your little piggies in Washington have managed to do a worse job in our eyes than even the dreaded W...

Polls show that the Reagan Democrats have been voting for Ms. Clinton in the primaries.

What is left of those "Reagan Democrats" that may have supported Hillary. What number of Bush repugs support Hillary? Obama?

It really does not matter. Obama is recasting the voter profile.

I noticed you referred to her as "Ms." Clinton...did she abort the 200 lb turd that's been following her on the campaign trail?
