What the heck are the building on that corner?  They've built a barn-like structure and have begun steel framing a much taller adjacent structure.  At first I thought it might be that hotel we heard about a few months ago, but this looks...dare I say it....industrial?

Anyone know?

(EDITED - I put Peoria instead of Riverside...ooops).

You mean we did not get the truth? Where'd you see it was going to be a hotel?

On here, I remember an announcement about a hotel.  I was thinking it was on the larger plot south of there, where Peoria intersects.  But when this started getting built, I thought maybe I had been confused.  This is too small to be a hotel IMHO.  It's just rather awkward looking.  I'm not excited about the metal siding it appears they are using - ugh.  I'm very curious about it, that's all.

The hotel is on the north side of the "7000 Riverside" plot.

The building at 67th and riverside included a vault from what I could tell. I'm guessing bank.

Had to laugh on that because I was going to guess it was part of the behavioral health office/home behind it.  Might still be . . . with a vault.  [;)]

I'm guessing a gymnasium with a safe room for the adjacent facility.

Maybe medical records?

Dunno, but it was one heck of a sturdy closet.

Another speculation,  could that vault be a Jim Giles safe room for that structure, what ever it turns out to be?  I saw it today and wondered also.  Plus further on down Riverside someone has cleared on the south side of 81st from that ditch to the river. Cause for even more uninformed speculation.  Unless someone is in the know and hasn't shared with us yet.

Heard about it on BOA tv also! They needed a variance.

This is probably an offshoot of the facility that is on shadow mountain.
