Car dealership hot-babe arms race?

Is it just me or does it seem to anybody else like local auto dealerships are locked into some kind of arms race to get the most attractive young ladies to appear in their commercials?

First it was Kristen Glover for Jim "Dad'll Do It" Glover Chevrolet.

(actually, truth be told the trend may have started with Brandie Cox of the Tulsa Auto Collection/United Ford ads)

Then it was the unnamed yet very pretty blonde for Don Carlton Honda.

Now I turn on the TV and see Casey (Miss Oklahoma and her Ideal Feet) Preslar for Ferguson Pontiac.

I don't mind all these recent developments in the least, of course, but was just wondering if I'm overly obsessed extremely observant.

former miss oklahoma was doing ads for tulsa welding school so she already hangs with that crowd.

These car babes are really gross actually.  Typical okie overly made up hos.

Now, if they want to get one of the channel 2 news babes to shill for them, I'll be down there shortly with my money in hand.

The girl for Don Carlton is Don Carlton's granddaughter named Jennifer Bruton.  She graduated from Jenks in umm 1998 or 1999.  There was a thread about this awhile back and if I remember correctly, Artist did some work for Bruton's family.

Natalie Sentz is a really nice person when you meet her. Same goes for Julie Chin and Katie Green(not from KJRH but she is very friendly and down to Earth.)

Erin Christy is a stone cold *****....same goes for the overly done blonde on KJRH, Beth something or other.

Kristen Glover is actually quite attractive in person. In the commercials they just cake the makeup on her and it looks so Barbie Doll fake.

Meet her in person and you would be surprised how different she looks. About the only makeup you will see on her is some lipstick and maybe some concealer

I noticed too, I was the one who asked about the Don Carlton gal a while back, I also noticed in the latest commercial she has a nice ring on her left hand
I agree that Channel 2 has the best looking female reporters, but I disagree about Erin and Beth Burnett, I've liked watching Erin in the mornings lately with her shorter hairdo, hoop earings , and shorter skirts[] and I went to the same college as Beth and she seems like a cool person.

Hey some of us like our women like that, I think Beth looks great! I also like Deana Goll, Marla Carter, and the new gal on Fox 23. I actually think Marla is a pretty good reporter and is underutilized.
