Has the opening act been announced yet?
Someone get Hoss a pacifier.

I am still hoping it is me.

I have been working on this interpretive dance number that just kills.

I think you've watched Napoleon Dynamite one too many times!

Vote for Pedro!

I just could not force myself to sit through that movie.  I felt like I wasted the 45 minutes I did force myself to watch it (at the behest of a good friend).

Some people say that though, about one of my favorite comedies, Grandma's Boy

It should be Garth.  I'm certainly no fan of the man's music, but there is no doubt that he is Oklahoma's biggest musical star ever and certainly the Tulsa metro's most commercially successful artist.  And he can be either credited or blamed depending on your perspective for the mainstream '90s country boom.  His music was bland, but he has my utmost respect as a businessman.  He set out to outsell everybody and he did just that.  For the BOK center to open properly, it has to be Garth.

I agree, it makes sense for Garth to be the opener...but I'm holding out hope for Queen + Paul Rodgers!

Please honor us with a preview dance master.

Brooks makes sense imo.

The opening act for the BOK Center will be the Eagles so you should see something offical soon.

I'm still holding out for Clapton.  He would sell out for sure, and Tulsa could do without more country branding.

After all, Clapton has ties to T-Town-- the bassist from Derek & the Dominos was Carl Radle, a native Tulsan.  Clapton also recorded tracks with Leon Russell and J.J. Cale, both of which are from Tulsa.

One post and he never comes back. He knows and just wants to spoil it for the rest of us.

There have been several great acts already booked for the BOK center, so the official "opening act" will be rather anti-climatic, and less dramatic.  I do remember the opening act for the PAC back in 1978, Ella Fitzgerald; no one can top that great tallent.

I saw him the last time he came through OKC and he sucked. Maybe it was just an off night, but he sucked.

Yeah, if I recall, I heard from a friend that there were some boos from the Ford Center crowd that night.

Of course, the Oklahoman's reviewer talked it up.
