The KOCO report was based on a domain name registry, but apparently Thunder is not a sure thing. The other possibilities are Barons, Bison, Energy, Marshalls and Wind.

These names are beyond stupid.  Wind?  Thunder?  Are they going to serve beans at the games and use the resulting stench as a type of home court advantage?
