Okay its driving me nuts. For about a year we were seeing Ruby Tuesday commercials in our area and finally bam. A Ruby Tuesday is built. Now we have been seeing Dave and Buster ads for a while and bam, now their building a Dave and Busters. So now for the past 6 - 8 months we have been seeing Dunkin Donuts commercials in our area, does that mean we will finally have some Dunkin Donuts in town. Please someone tell me its so?

There used to be a Dunkin Donuts here...I want to say it was maybe on Utica around 10th or so? Or am I making that up?

Why worry, when there are plenty of good local doughnut shops here?

(Insert plug for Browns Donut Shop on North Yale.)

Yeah but Browns doesnt have a Caramel Coolata or munchkins. Plus I just love Dunkin. America runs on Dunkin Donuts. Heehee.
Also it wasn't a Dunkin Donuts at 5th and Utica it was a Winchells, which they were cool too.

You say "plenty" but offer 1. I have never been to Browns but I have been to a lot and none (since Glazn Havn closed) that I would classify as "good."

Yeah, but what does that have to do with good donuts?

-- OK Country Donut Shoppe.
-- Ann's Bakery

Yes!  When I look at Tulsans, myself included, I think WOW! those folks could use some more donuts.

Wait, are you saying they don't make donuts or don't make good donuts?  I seem to recall that they had pretty tasty confections but that was a solid 15 years ago.

Regardless, I'd like to solidly endorse Dunkin Donuts.  Not only do they have delicious donuts, they also have damn good sandwiches, inexpensive good coffee, and excellent bagels, etc.  Got me through many a law school morning.

I'm all over a Merrit's Cake or Cookie but their donuts rival Hostess. I shouldn't need a chainsaw for a sausage roll.

I tried that. The bar oil ruined the flavor.[:)]
