That's a little disappointing. To me monumental is saying that Led Zeppelin is going to have a reunion tour, and Tulsa is one of their stops.

Eh, I think Metallica is pretty epic. I am happy they got them even if nobody made a big deal about it. I think it's a bigger deal than 90% of the other gigs and certainly bigger than Janet Jackson, arguably bigger than the Eagles.

Janet Jackson will market very well in this area.

The Eagles playing twice..., more than likely, has a condition of a "guaranteed purse"...

They can Thank the scalpers for that..

Dierks Bently didn't market very good last night . Then again it was a limited audience and a Wed. night to boot. There was beer though!!!

Bently wasn't marketed to the public ... it was a private show for BOk employees because of the naming rights deal.

I take it you are upset that BOK did something exclusive for their employees? How dare they[8)] Just curious as to why you keep bringing it up.

Nope, not at all upset.

ARGUS

Don Henley(sp?)of The Eagles is playing the Brady.
A monumental anoucement would be: Devon is moving to Tulsa or SemGroup was playing a joke.
Who oh who considers any musical act short of Led Zepplin or The Beatles coming to Tulsa as ...uhh monumnetal?

kylieosu

Don Henley is actually playing Cain's, not the Brady. It's a benefit show for Andrew Rice's Senate campaign.

i think not... bleh.

Quick, someone check the temperature in hell, I agree with Bruno!!!  This ladies and gentlemen marks a watershed moment in time...blah, blah, blah.

Really, though, given the hype I thought it would have been someone relevant.
Someone get Hoss a pacifier.

Sounded like a show I wanted to see till I heard who it benefitted.

Janet tickets were to go on sale today; however, when I went to the box office they said that it had been postponed and they didn't know when they'd be available.

Anyone know anything on this?

It was in the paper and on TV news last night.

Also, as if anyone really cared, Lil Wayne postponed his concert until Oct 11.  Reason?

"Emergency Dental Work"...

Now THAT's funny...

Probably needed a new setting or something..
