I dont know what it is about me and accountants, but I seem to have the worst luck.

Went today to meet an accountant I had used before. Called a few minutes before I left, they said they would be in (though they sounded as if I were "bothering" them by just calling and asking). I got downtown, couldnt find them, apparently they had moved, repeatedly called to try and find new location and got no answer.

Then remembered there was an accounting office near my house so tried there. Sign was still there, but office was empty and they no longer existed.

The whole reason I was going to the first accountant was the one I had used earlier had vanished with all my tax records, bank statements, checking receipts, etc. So had just reordered that years statements from the bank.

The accountant I had before either of those accountants I remember seeing an article in the paper saying something to the effect that they were going to prison....

Does Aaaaanybody know of a good, trustworthy, reliable accountant that wont vanish and is professional?  Preferably in mid-town and in a clean office. Need personal and small business taxes done.

Thanks for the referral. Called today, liked what I heard, sounded very nice, made an appointment for Tuesday. Thanks again.

I need an accountant to explain a finance question for me.

How come people always give their two cents worth but are only offered a penny for their thoughts?

Somebody has got to be making a profit here somewhere.
Power is nothing till you use it.
