Do you think McCain picked her so she can shoot lawyers?

Oh my.
Power is nothing till you use it.

Gaspar

Isn't anyone on this forum voting for me?

Scott Gaspar for President

I am the candidate of HOPEFULL CHANGE.   I hope to change everything.  I will change the term "minimum wage" to "maximum wage".

I will change my positions often.

I will hope for change.

I will beg for spare change.

Free waffles on Fridays, and orange pant-suits for everyone!

I will choose a female vice president who has had a sex change.

Please join me in a Hopi Prayer (at least it sounds like Hope).

A HOPI ELDER SPEAKS:

"You have been telling the people that this is the Eleventh Hour, now you must go back and tell the people that this is THE HOUR. And there are things to be considered...

Where are you living?
What are you doing?
What are your relationships?
Are you in right relation?
Where is your water?
Know your garden.
It is time to speak your Truth.
Create your community.
Be good to each other.
And do not look outside yourself for the leader.

When attacked by a mob of clowns, always go for the juggler.

Conan, I will take this a step further. The dems, particularly some of those in this thread, are scared sh*tless about this pick. They know that if they attack Palin as "inexperienced" generally and on "foreign policy" matters specifically that such will blow up in Obama's face. Indeed, an attack on her is an attack on him. Furthermore, if the dems press the foreign policy issue, Obama will wind up pitching right into McCain's wheel house instead of focusing on tax policy and healthcare.

What I find interesting is that the dems are running two lawyers for Nos. 1 & 2. We need more lawyers in our government, don't we?

The more I hear about her the more I think McCain completely misunderstands the "Hillary vote."  I know a lot of women who are die-hard Clinton supporters that are having some difficulty switching allegiance to Obama.  But their support for Hillary goes beyond her simply being a woman.  Hillary has fought long and hard for the causes of women--affordable healthcare, decent childcare, the right to control our bodies.  She represents an older  generation of women, women who faced blatant sexism, who were dismissed and told they could not have careers.  I doubt if those women will find anything of themselves in Palin, other than her sex.  These are smart, independent women, who will immediately see this is just a political stunt.  It reminds me when Bush picked Quayle, and some in the republican party said that Quayle would win over women with his good looks.  Clearly, republicans don't think much about the intelligence of women.

Also--saying that Hillary whined too much isn't going to help her case.  http://www.newsweek.com/id/156190/output/print

You're dreaming. I hope his advisors are buying into that line. It sure feels good being scared shirtless.

Analysis: McCain judgement rating suffers again. He gets points for boldness, points for clever strategy and timing but deductions for putting his political objectives over the needs of the country. Overall, 'ol Pappy scores a 4 out of 10.

Ps. My son tells me he considers it a cynical slam on Americans by MC. He correctly noted that this fresh governor could be president within a short time and wouldn't even know how to do the job or even what the job entails. It must not be a very important job or not very important to Americans. He's 15 and smarter than most of you.

That trooper story is pretty bad. Her sister gets a divorce from the guy so Palin gets him fired.

She ain't afraid, I give her that.

She is a moose hunter. I like moose, especially the chocolate kind.

The guy threatened to kill their father, was caught driving a patrol car drunk (not busted though), and tasered her son. The kid wanted it, but still... And he wasn't fired, the union apparently won't allow it

Its a divorce case. Lots of allegations to sort out. She admitted that she may have abused her power by contacting his superiors over 15 times and suggesting his dismissal. Really? A governor calling repeatedly "might" be abusive?

If it were so clear cut there wouldn't be an ethics investigation.

You reading this Guido?? Apologies accepted.

Oh great. The repukes across America are questioning the sanity of this selection and our local tribesmen are all in favor.

Would someone please show the link or attach her swimsuit picture to TNF. She's a babe. Why else would McSame anoint her? McCain could be either a sex addict or an old wrinkley pervert. McUseswomen....

Absolutely BRILLIANT choice as VP.

A STRONG, attractive, virile, woman leader.

A Reformer.  Steel in her spine.

Castrated the incumbent Alaska GOP Good-old-Boys' Governor Frank Murkowski with a dull spoon, faster than she gutted her first bull moose in the back woods using a McCullough chain saw lubricated with Mazola Oil.

Va-roooooooom.

Then, fried his balls for Sunday Breakfast to feed her growing family.

VERY good speaker on her feet.  MAJOR League talent.

Authentic.

AUTHENTIC.

People sense it.

PTA to City Council to Mayor to Reform Governor in an Alaskan ethical swamp.

Empty suit Obama Hussein Obama crapped his $1,000 suitpants when he heard the news.

His dear friends at his former employer, the Cook County Democratic Machine, are reportedly calling their close friends in the Chicago Mafia for a Cleaner.

Lifelong, oily professional pol Delaware Sinator Joe "MBNA" Bid-en will look like a terminal cholera patient next to her immense moral authority.

Congratulations, GOP.

Your brains are finally working overtime.

Happy Hunting!

FB, quit the sarcasm. This is a serious joke. You realize, republicans outside of Dumbf*ckistan are having a hard time understanding McInsanes' choice here.

So, Gweeedoe, Ipsy, FB etc.: Do you support teaching creationism too?

'Creation science' enters the race
GOVERNOR: Palin is only candidate to suggest it should be discussed in schools.

Please post those swim suit pics you're drooling over. Give em up!

Landslide coming!

USRufnex

Yeah, FB... the dems are shakin' in their boots.... because Hillary's voters can't wait to cast their ballot for someone who is a polar opposite from most of Hillary's positions...

Ummm.  If she were a man, would she have been chosen.  Governor since 2006.... mayor of a suburb of Anchorage with a population of 9,000?

Obama's not an empty suit....  I know better... I know what he did on the southside, I remember well the debates with Alan Keyes... I'm not sure why you have no respect for him... but then again... you've never been a poster of substance, FB.

Have some more of that koolaid.... here's another fun conspiracy theory for you....

If I'd looked as good as she does now and even better 20 years ago, I'd run for Ms. Alaska, too.

Smart. Attractive. Strong public speaker.

Reformer.

Reform Motto:  Kill 'em and Grill 'em.

The Democrat Testosterone-depleted Girlie Boys are trembling like a leaf in winter.......

Please define smart.

What does attractive got to do with this (other than McCain (R-Idiot) uses women)? (Please find the swim suit pics already!)

Good public speaker? We will see about that. Is she a choaker?

Reformer? She wants creationism taught for Gawds sake.....where is she a reformer? Define reform.
