Realistically, what are the chances that Regional Medical will close down? I didn't like the sound of that. I suppose some will say that it is prime development property, but the indigent won't be in that group.

The chances are high because our lawmakers won't come though with real support for a public hospital in Tulsa. Where is Boone when you need him?  Oh yeah, when he's not playing energy czar, he's sitting in the kings chair at his own private football stadium.  Hillcrest and St. John's are about to feel the burden of patients that no one wants to acknowledge.  Can't wait to see what the ER will look like at St. Johns.

You have to ask McCainites several times to get them to answer at all. Just giving you a break.

With the way that St Francis is spreading out it would not be surprising for them to take over the medical college.

I think this warrants a new thread - OSU Medical Center expansion is about as misleading as could be - this is a sad situation for the hospital.

You don't think OU is going to try to sweep in and make themselves the hero here?

It would make far more logistical sense w/ OU's campus just 2 mi to the north.

no.
they've shot their wad with all the schusterman expansions... they'd be going to the same dry well (state coffers) that osu has been hitting up...
