Over the last 72 hours, Jim Inhofe has poured tens of thousands of dollars of Big Oil money into negative attack ads against Andrew Rice.
After 22 years in Washington, Jim Inhofe knows his record is not one of supporting Oklahomans. Without a record to run on, he's resorted to the same smear tactics he's used against each and every one of his opponents.
Unfortunately for Inhofe, Andrew made a promise to you that no attack would go unanswered.
As the old saying goes, a lie can be halfway round the world before the truth has got its boots on. We can't let Inhofe lie his way back into the senate for another six years. We went on the air today with a forceful response, but we need your help raising an additional $20,000 to match Inhofe's weekly ad buy. Can you help?

Inhofe is turning to smear-and-fear politics because it's the only kind of campaign he knows how to run. He would rather attack Andrew than discuss the issues that Oklahomans are concerned about the most.
This campaign is different. Andrew has been traveling the state, meeting fellow Oklahomans, and talking about real issues. Earlier this week Andrew met with veterans from across Oklahoma and presented his plan to defeat terrorism, strengthen our military, and fight for our veterans.
The stakes are too high, and with only 54 days until the election, this is a critical moment. We simply cannot let Inhofe's smears define this race.

Your support made our response ad possible. Andrew is deeply grateful to have you in his corner as he fights back against Inhofe.
We know - and so does Jim Inhofe - that when Oklahomans hear about Andrew putting people before politics, we win.

Saw him (Sen Inhofe) today at Ike's Chili on Admiral, as well as Councilors Westcott and Gomez, and the Mayor, along with all three major TV media outlets and KRMG.  It evidently was Ike's 100th birthday.

It must be a National story because of yIKEs!!!!!! OH THE IRONY!

It's amazing what television does to a person.  I see these commercials for Inhofe on TV; I saw him today and he can't be any taller than about 5' 6".  He's puny...

No, he's not a great, big guy.  Nice enough to talk to, and he really does care.  He doesn't bend much, if at all, on his personal convictions.  That's an asset and a liability.

I don't suggest flying with Uncle Jimmy though.  He's a great pilot but misfortune and maintenance issues seem to follow him around.

LOL...I do like him because he's a pilot (like me) and he championed the effort to not privatize the Riverside airport tower.  But there is just not much more we can agree on.

FOTD

Why? Because Jim Inhofe has been the sock puppet for politcos and corporations, right wing kooks and everyone else whose led the country down the wrong path in DC the past 12 years.

He'll do Oklahoma no good under Obama's rule. Not that he's done much for us to this point in time.

"That's the way it's been in town,
Ever since they tore the jukebox down.
Two bit piece don't buy no more,
Not so much as it done before.

I say row Jimmy row, gonna get there I don't know
Seems a common way to go, get out and row, row, row, row, row. " (Garcia/Hunter)

Vote for Andrew Rice....give our State a hand up in DC.....not a hand out like Inhofe has given the rich and powerful at the expense of our children's futures and our world's environment!

Hometown

You've seen his political ads.

Now Inhofe -- if he is really still alive -- looks like a flesh eating zombie out of Night of the Living Dead.

"I'm Jim Inhofe and even though I've been dead for a week and walk the earth looking for flesh to eat -- I somehow managed to approve this message."

FOTD

Well, in all fairness .....RICE'S LEMMINGS AD WAS THE WORST! (good point, but eeeghads, who did that production?)

Pretty hard for Rice to call him an anachronism on this one:

HE DID NOT SAY "NO"! Come on Conan....what Jimmy sed wuz ("Anytime someone is in such a desperate hurry to get something done, I am always a little reluctant to be in the same hurry. It usually turns out that it is not a good idea,'') we need to not rush into any rash decisions. Jimmy rushed into Iraq so I guess he nose.

We need a new Senator...one that's not a Senate Turd!

Rice is going to stick to the bottom of the pan.

Six more years of Inhofe coming.

Sorry, I refuse to vote for this embarrassing buffoon. I want a leader who commands respect by his peers and others like Ronald Reagan. I want a leader that represents Oklahoma in a positive light. Jim Inhofe is a joke in his own party and he is part of the establishment in Washington. If change is such a big issue in this election then why would you vote for Inhofe?

I will hold my nose and vote for Andrew Rice because voting for Inhofe would be a vote for the elite.

Mr. Burns
Bob Barr for President.

Why are The Friends of Jim Inhofe advertising in the Dallas radio market to get him elected?  I thought he was running in Oklahoma, not Texas.

It's a scaled down version of the way we ask citizens of European countries who should be President of the U.S.A. and then vote according to their opinions.
