Why not?  Back in the Seventies, it was 18 minutes of missing reel-to-reel tape?  This is just updating it for the times.

If there was someone occupying the White House these days that wasn't screaming executive privilege for people that may have delivered flowers to the White House or even more trivial, this kind of stuff wouldn't be happening.

It would be tough to comprehend in this technological age that our Commander-in-Chief is living in an email age but relying on telegraph technology.  That's what you're essentially saying the heads of state should be doing, with that suggestion.

Think I was referring to a _campaign_.

But, would fully expect that to change after the election, when John McCain takes the White House. Probably won't be prolific, start his own web blog or mass email his constituants, but use it he will, rest assured.

Obama is an incredible moron.

National Review with RIGHT WING HACK Jonah Goldberg???

Somebody's an incredible moron in this campaign alright, and after watching Gov Palin's interview with ABC, it certainly isn't Obama...

God forbid you have to deal with any sort of progressive taxation while you endorse the freezing of minimum wage for another ten years... and making the Bush tax cuts for rich permanent in a time of war...

By "progressive taxation", I assume you mean that I should have to pay more than you. I already pay tons in taxes, so forgive me if I do not want to pay any more. But hey, class warfare has always worked in the past for you and the dems, so keep it up!

As for Jonah Goldberg being a "hack", what does that have to do with the article he cited. Is the article wrong, or are you shooting the messenger?

Finally, I could care less as to your opinion of Palin's interview with the LEFT WING HACK Charles Gibson. I thought she did just fine.

Other than reaffirming the fact you knee dance before Obama, is there anything intelligent you can bring to this debate?

Oh, and hear is something funny:

"knee dance before Obama" -- ???

No.

I know him.  I like him.  I've followed his political career for a long time now...

You republicans love to go on and on about Al Gore inventing the internet... McCain's never heard of it...

I'm sorry that you have to resort to personal sexual insults and petty demogoguery to demonstrate your points....

If Charles Gibson is a "left wing hack" then I guess that makes you "Mary Queen of Scots"...

Yeah, I bet you think FDR was the worst president ever [:O]... just keep shilling for a flat tax while your money makes more money than I do working every year..... that, my friend, is CLASS WARFARE, plain and simple...

Good news for you, Guido!  Obama's tax plan reduces taxes for 95% of Americans!  Unless you're one of the wealthiest 5% in the country, you will get more money back from the government if Obama is elected president.

Senator McCain, however, is promising to continue the Bush wealth redistribution project and suggests average tax breaks for the wealthiest 147,000 families in America (the top %0.1) of $269,364.

If you want to know how much of a tax cut you will receive under Obama's tax plan, check this out:

Obama also promises to simplify the filing process.  http://www.barackobama.com/issues/economy/

Petty demogoguery?  Tell me who wrote the following on this very thread?

"And you're a charicature of a Republican shill. Obama writes many of his speeches. It took alot of guts for Obama to go to the southside of Chicago and try to improve people's lives.

Character does matter.

That's why I'm supporting Obama over John McCain.
McCain has pandered to the religious right in ways that completely belie his 2000 campaign.
His pick of Palin is the worst case of politically pandering since the days when Paul Tsongas brought out his pander bear as a tribute to Bill Clinton..."

Let the hypocrisy roll...

Mrs. Hockey Mom needs to stay in Alaska!

The woman is a right-wing, self-righteous idiot.  She wants to take women back to the dark ages with her ideas.  Women should have a CHOICE, and that's Pro-choice, not anti-choice.

Her personal belief is anti-abortion.  She has never tried to legislate her personal belief into her work, FAIK.

Women do have a choice.  That choice has stood for 35 years and through 23 or so years of GOP admins and Supreme Court picks virtually unchanged.  You got nothing to worry about.  This is such a red herring issue amongst deeply conservative and deeply liberal voters, but obviously an emotional one.

Interesting.  The NOW types would only support a woman President or VP who is liberal.  Sounds like they want only believe in one dogma instead of accepting many ideas, as if Gov. Palin's stance on abortion makes her any less of a woman.

Gov. Palin is ALL WOMAN.

That's what scares the fright wigs off of the Women-Masquerading-as-Men-with-Holes in the NOW radical-feminist organization.

She can shoot, skin a moose, fly a plane, shoot a hoop, cook, birth five children, manage a household, GOVERN the largest state in the U.S., and LEAD.

Of course they hate her.

They now look like abnormal freaks compared to Gov. Palin's Femininity.

Palin is the one defining Femininity going forward.  And they HATE,HATE,HATE that picture.

All woman?  Saying that a woman who was raped does not have the right to abort, is not being all woman!

Palin is being used by McSame to get the women's vote (those who are still in the dark ages), and to draw attention from the real issues.  She's going to be your worst nightmare.

Nothing like typical Karl Rove soundbite politics with no substance....

Under the settled LAW OF THE LAND for the past 30 years, a woman has the legal right to choose abortion for ANY REASON:  Rape, incest, the health of the woman, or merely to terminate an unwanted pregnancy.

Her personal beliefs are actually irrelevant.

It's the LAW.

If it's the law of the land then why does the religious right so fervently care that the republican nominee align themselves with pro-life as opposed to pro-choice?

We've already heard McCain/Palin talk about how they would like to make abortion of any kind illegal.

While it's contentious and something I'm for in certain cases but against in others, what I am for is the choice of the person who must carry the child to term.  And for that person to bear the guilt of terminating the pregnancy, or no guilt, as they see fit.

I have plenty of core values.

What you take issue with is the fact they don't align with your core values or the religious Right.

The crazy-donkey neocons think that it's their way or the highway.  Sorry, we're living in America.  Last I checked Fascism wasn't part of it.
