Who Replaces Palin On The Ticket?

Palin won't be replaced, but I think the campaign will try just about anything to get her out of debating Biden.  Not because Biden's some supernatural debater but because Palin's just so completely unready.

IMO, the debate will be difficult for Biden.  He's got to find a way to show that he is the better candidate without looking like he's beating up on her.

Did anyone catch McCain on This Week?  Stephanopolous asked him about critics of Palin, and whether he thought she was a good choice.  McCain response was along the lines of "she brings excitement, she's popular, I'm excited about her, etc...."

Message to McCain--she isn't your prom date.

AVERAGE JOE

pmcalk, it's not hard to figure out where McCain's attitude comes from. The man with a much younger trophy wife simply picked a much younger trophy running mate.

Wow, that's original.  [8)]

Has someone given McCain his eyedrops to keep him from blinking so much?  Oh wait, he doesn't use eyedrops?  Is that what was keeping him from making eye contact with Obama during the debate?  Ah, I see...

So sorry.

And women wonder why we aren't taken seriously in this world.  Apparently, it doesn't matter if you have education or experience (or can form a coherent thought)--if you're good looking and exciting, you can rule the world (provided you can find a older man to choose you).

It's the "Legally Blond" syndrome.

For anyone who missed last night's SNL:

I'm thinking more and more that Tina Fey would make a better VP.

At first, I laughed my donkey off when I watched that SNL skit. Then I paused and thought about it. It would be hilarious, if it wasn't so accurate and painfully true.

The fact that this person has a chance to be voted into office, and potentially become the leader of our country should scare the hell out of anyone with a cognitive thought process.

If the McCain camp actually cared about the future of this country they would remove her from the ticket.

Keep it up, you guys are cracking me up.

I've never seen 'progressives' so afraid of a strong woman. And, you can't even see past her good looks.

Makes one wonder why none of this came up while she was clawing her way into the Governor's manson.

This got me to thinking Obama could probably impress a lot of 'progressives' by demonstrating how he can press his suits without removing them.

Is 'progressive' the new Republican buzzword? Since they hijacked, misuse, and don't even understand the definition of 'liberal'  I guess they needed a new one.

There, fixed it for you.

Apparently, you must not be that sharp a lib or you'd know that "progressive" has been in the Democrat vernacular for ages.

I actually hope they do keep her on the ticket.  She's becoming a political burden now that so many conservatives are starting to speak out about her.

we vs us

'Progressive' went away for awhile -- mostly after the New Deal and WW2.  It's been adopted by the lefty webroots both because 'liberal' has been so successfully demonized and because it really does harken back to a great era of Democratic liberalism.

Demonized? Hey that's my terror torrey. Crinkle, take Conman out for a pressing.

Here's the dailykos tracking poll....it oughta cause another wrinkle and give gweedodo and Ipsqueak and Conman some press material!http://www.dailykos.com/storyonly/2008/9/28/75413/3350/471/612782

Here's some press you need from Huff! But don't believe it for it too is progressive and could cause a wrinkle to appear!http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/09/27/vice-presidential-debate_n_129907.html

Vice Presidential Debate Expectations: Obama Camp Calls Palin "Terrific Debater"

With a wire, I'm sure she will be. The devil hopes the Dems are smart enough to either set up a jammer or...better.......
eavesdrop on the link - Record the link and play it in REAL TIME on a website somewhere.

Nobody cared when she was clawing her way into the Governor's mansion.

Frankly, I've never seen republicans so afraid of their very own vp candidate.  Conservative Kristol says that McCain has done a disservice to her by keeping her locked up.  Obviously, he recognizes that her performance lately is raising red flags. As Palin's poll numbers continue to drop, McCain has cancelled her appearences, and is flying her to Arizona for "debate camp" in a frantic effort to prepare her for Thursday.
