That makes good sense, seeing as Tulsa has the fourth lowest gas prices of any city in the nation.

I drove by QT last night at $3.15 and Shell at $3.36. Damn that QT and their 21c cheaper gas.

Oh, but let's not insert fact into a perfectly good rant!

Can someone explain to me why Oklahoma City has gas selling for $2.92 a gallon?

I'm sure it has something to do with unfair treatment of Tulsa by state officials.

Gas was $3.02 in OKC last Friday when I drove to Texas, it was selling for $3.69 in Gainsville just across the border.  Bet both batches came from the Ardmore Valero refinery.

Gas has been below $3.00 in OKC area since Tuesday from my reports.

Take QuikTrip out of our cultural equation and most of us would be lost. My wife and I have been on a weight reduction routine since January. By agreement I get one of QT's hard donuts every time we buy gas. Gotta have the QT. [:)]

Thanks for the tip on that this morning.  I thought I'd take jerry cans, coffee cans, etc. and stock up.  But I remembered, I'm driving a pick up.  I'll just caulk the tail gate shut, fill the bed with gas and throw a tarp over it.

Then all I need to do is siphon over from the bed when I need more gas.

I wonder how many gallons a rowing shell would hold???

I know...is it wrong that a took a picture of my kids eating a Hotzi together...to commemorate the day the 2 year old graduated to her very own Hotzi, not sharing anymore?  Family history, that one.

And no, my kids are not chunks of butter,  they are rather skinny, yet eat me under the table regularly

And, then again gas on Grand Lake is $4.50 plus. We gassed up the boat this past weekend and it was $ 150.00 and by no means do we have the largest tank on the lake.

Gas yesterday here in Kansas City at QT was $3.17 a gallon.  I havent been out today to see if it has dropped from there.  Hope so, I need to fill up.
