I think their beers range from not good to pretty good (I like their stout most).

Their stout is the only memorable one to me.  The rest are terribly meh.  Part of the problem is inherent in brewing craft beer to comply with 4.0 ABV (3.2 ABW).  You simply lose character and mouthfeel.  It is a thinner beer.  It’s somewhat noticeable in Marshall’s 4.0 offerings- though they work really hard to overcome that by adding oatmeal and other grain adjuncts to give you something with the mouthfeel of a bigger beer. 

There are a couple of recipes I brew at 6 to 6.5% I’ve tried dialing down to a 4% range and it really changes the character, the hop balance seems a bit off and it’s just a thinner beer.

Bricktown Brewery will be moving into the Brookside location where Leon's on the Restless Ribbon was located, according to Buck Warfield, managing partner of Bricktown Brewery and president of Enduring Brands.
Warfield wrote in a tweet, "Just signed another lease for Bricktown Brewery's growth plan. Tulsa's Brookside neighborhood. Taking over the Leon's building."
Leon's closed Saturday, and owner, J.L. Lewis, said he ended his lease to make room for a new tenant. He had about seven more years left on the lease but agreed with the new property owners to terminate it.
Bricktown Brewery, which started in Oklahoma City, opened in the old Ruby Tuesday location in Owasso at 11909 E. 96th St. in August 2014.
“Our concept is pretty simple, we really like a local beer, we first like our beer then other beer from Oklahoma and then regional craft beer," Warfield said at the time.
The menu is made up of appetizers, big salads, hamburgers, pizzas — all things that go with beer.
Bricktown Brewery started in 1990 on the corner of Sheridan and North Oklahoma avenues in Oklahoma City and later expanded to Remington Park Racing Casino, as well as Shawnee and Edmond.
Leon’s was a popular Brookside staple for casual dining and for watching any big sporting event.
If there’s an opportunity to re-open Leon’s in a new location, Lewis said he’ll consider the opportunity to see if it’s the right fit. In the meantime, Lewis said he plans to stay in Tulsa and work on other projects.

So Leon's was a sports bar + food.  They expanded their bar and beer options recently to keep up with trends.  They weren't making enough to bother keep going or whatever payout they got from Bricktown to let their lease go.  So then Bricktown is going to open up with an OKC name with beer and food (their beer costs will be lower).  And its going to go a lot better?  Elgin Park Brewpub, Prairie Brewpub, and Marshall Brewpub all coming soon.  Ok, Marshall is sometime...  Good luck putting OKC up against Tulsa breweries with much better beers.

I think Eric is "overseeing" the beer of Elgin Park.  If it was "Marshall" it would have Marshall's name somewhere in the name of the business. I don't see why Eric would need to brew in the brewpub when he has a facility down the street.  He might be in charge of hiring somebody to run that equipment or send one of his brewers down their to make one of their large selection of brews they currently make in their current taproom.  The new Marshall tap room will have a catering kitchen and a spot for food trucks.  So you can get beer and food in the same place.  I guess its not a "brewpub" in the traditional sense.  But I don't see much difference.  I guess its a taproom with food vs a restaurant with beer.

As I understand it, Bricktown Brewery doesn't brew in any of its satellite locations. So its really just Bricktown Bar and Grill.

Prairie will certainly brew on site. Which makes them cooler by default. Also, are they expanding their west Tulsa site, it looks like they took over the building next to them? As I understand it Prairie is still like 85% contract brewed down in Krebs. Would be cool if they brought more of the production to Tulsa.

I walked by there last weekend. It was looking good inside. The wife and I will be downtown tonight for the Carrie Underwood concert, her choice not mine but at least I can stare at Carrie's legs all night, and I plan on walking by again to see what progress has been made in the last few days.

Chase did purchase the land with the intention of building his brewery there then realized the cost to build it would have been ridiculous.

Krebs/Choc just announced another expansion and will soon employ 60 people.
