Has anybody tried this place yet? Doesn't seem to be much information on it online at all...I did drive past a couple of times this weekend, and it appeared to be open for business. I suppose I'll have to go check it out for myself, but I was just curious to see if anyone else already had. :)

allspunout

It just openned last week.  They completely renovated the place.  They actually have a parking lot, unlike most places on cherry street.

More TV's than Leons.  An excellent place to watch games.

The menu looks great.  The head chef is Curt from Curt and Marges if you remember that place.

I haven't been yet, but I've talked to several people who said it was great!

It is a restaurant?
What do they serve?

Renaissance

So it's at 1325 E. 15th St, in what used to be the Antiquary bookstore?  Interesting.

It's in the space where The Wok used to be.

I was in tonight, the sliders are okay, the noise level for a mostly empty place was way too high.  Lots of tvs with someone somewhere playing with the remote so you didn't get to watch anything was very irritating.  I will give them one more chance.
It's hard being a Diamond in a rhinestone world.

It's solid....They did a nice job.....A lil loud from all the hard surfaces is my only compalaint....That and they should do some happy hour beers and apps....

Went last night.  I liked it.  Shot stick upstairs and had a few.

Met the owner Jason...nice guy.  I hope he's very successful there.

The place was packed.

brunoflipper

sliders were decent...
fried ravioli and zuchinni were very good...
my son loved the salmon...

service was pretty weak (i'll cut 'em some slack)... and they still dont have most of their beers in... they have the marshalls pub ale on draught...

it was loud, crazy loud... even for game watching the volume was up wasy too high... you could not carry on a conversation without shouting...

but, it is a very nice joint and i'll go back... lots of great TVs all over...

It looks great. I'm glad that the space finally has an occupant and I think the concept works well on Cherry Street.

Too bad there is no access to the upstairs outdoor patio to be used by the Owl (not that I could see anyway).

Breadburner

They do have a happy hour now with some apps and beers....They also are bringing in some requested beers and are working on a build out for cold beer storage....

Tried it after the TU game.  The setup is pretty cool for a bar in Tulsa.  Long, skinny room with elevated tables on one side and a bar on the other, plus stuff upstairs.  The beer was cold, the service was inconsistent, and appetizers we tried were a little over-priced.

We ordered nachos and cheese fries.  The nachos were the better of the two; the cheese fries aren't in the same league as the Brook.

I'll go back.  My thrifty friends with me will probably not go back.

It's for the best.  Thrifty friends can be annoying. At least MY thrifty friends can be annoying.

I know a guy who I call "dollar menu Dave". He compares all meals as to what he could get it for at a fast food place.
