hey its tulsa, so you either stay at home and get drunk, or go do that.

OK, I'll give you that one.  When it's really bad I drink whiskey and watch Lawrence Welk...good for a laugh and as crazy as reality TV.

Peoria and the 56th street area is the pitts too, the road is narrow and cars turn out right in front of you. In fact much of Peoria is a street to avoid, the traffic lights are long and it's just a mess. Lewis is not much better. I take Harvard or RiverSide. Did I mention all the pot holes on those two streets geeesh![B)]

uh what?  Much like your posts, no one cares about that stretch of road.  Reading your additions to threads is like talking to someone with Alzheimers.

And the fact he no longer lives here.  That stretch of road could have been rehabilitated and he would never have known it.

Townsend!!!  Damn you!!  Now I can't stop watching them on YouTube!!  Hilarious!  Where's my bottle of whiskey when I need it?  Is 9a.m. too early to start?

I agree, Such practise mostly increases at late night times or in late afternoons when their is less traffic on the roads.

Between Lewis and Peoria use 14th Street to bypass it going East and 13th going West.

The only left turn abusers I've seen there are the ones who note there is no oncoming traffic, so, they might as well execute a left in spite of the signs. Anyone else would risk the wrath of the other drivers.

Oh, I just met someone at Woodland Hills for lunch.  Dumbest. Idea. Ever.

They could be giving away 3.5' toothless hookers with flat heads and I wouldn't go back there.

Chicken. That just means double the toothless midget hookers for me!

Want real danger? I went to the Walmart at 71st and Memorial yesterday after work and asked an employee a question. That's living on the edge baby...

(I don't usually shop at wal-mart but have a gift card for $25 and needed a $25 item so I thought "what the hell" of course the walmart employee told me what I was looking for didn't exist so I went over to ToysRUs and bought it.)

what I'm still trying to figure out is where did everyone get all of their money/credit cards?  I thought this was supposed to be a recession and credit crunch?

Or has everyone resorted to the "well the world is gonna end next year so I'm gonna buy everything up and pray for the worst"....?

I swear, I think a large portion of people WANT everything to fail and have all of their debts magically erased.

I read one of those articles where they interviewed a woman saying how she "just can't give this year like she could before" and while she was being interviewed, she was in line to buy herself a 32" LCD. My theory is that people are turning the Christmas sale season into a time to buy for themselves, just as much as a time to buy for others, and it's tough to do both.

Personally I cut way back on spending for others and on the number of people I spent for.  Plus, I bought myself nothing, there was nothing I really wanted or even thought I couldn't live without.  My thinking was to try to put money in the bank because I might end up needing it to live off of at some point down the line.

I am buying some things that needed to be purchased anyway (not a 32" TV) and calling them presents.
