OU GAME (Tebow walks on water and OU Bowl jokes)

1.  Time Tebow's tears cure cancer, too bad he never cries!

Really though.  Good guy, good football player.  But did I have to hear about him for 4 hours?  "The few minutes I spent with him have made me a better person...  he preached to Orphan at the Orphanage he cared for...  he visited a leper colony, this man is such an example for the world."    On and on and on like that.  

His parents are missionaries, and he's been on missions.  What a shocker.  Yes, he is a good kid and a fine example of a student athlete.  But sheesh!

2. OU Bowl jokes...

Q. Why does Bob Stoops eat his cereal on a plate?
A. He can't handle anything in a bowl.

Q. How do you make an OU Omlet?
A. Put them in a bowl and beat for 3 hours.

Q. What does Bob Stoops hate soup?
A. Anything in a bowl makes him choke.

Q. Why does Bob Stoops pee outside his office?
A. The toilet bowl in his bathroom is too much to handle.


I was going for OU, I wanted them to win.  I have to start worrying about how many more times they will get the voters benefit of the doubt.  Over LSU.  Lost the conference championship game and went anyway.  Given the nod over Texas.  And each time they lost.

Must REALLY suck for Bob Stoops.  How do you redeem yourself?  Guess we'll find out moving forward.

Yep.  I reiterate that he seems to be a great guy, and is clearly a great athlete.  It's refreshing to see an all-star who sets a good example (one could argue Bradford is as well).  I don't want to take away from Tebow, he didn't create the hype.

But the announcers drove me NUTS.
