I think Happy Hour is usually after work, although it doesn't give specific hours.

I worked for a large firm in town, a senior associate sent out a firm-wide email:

quote:
Happy hour tonight at Caz's at the usual time.

To which a senior partner replied to all:

quote:
Your usual time or everyone elses?

I think a time to start would be nice. I am not gonna get there at 5 then sit around for a few hours by myself in some back room, only to have people start showing up at 7. Or conversely wouldnt want to show up at 8 only to watch as everyone leaves or to have missed everyone because they were there early. Plus I am a schedule freak. I am not gonna put "whenever" on my calendar lol. I would say 6-8 is a good time, at least during the winter months. 7 being "peak happy hour" lol.

If this works out to be a regular thing I will try and make one. I'm hoping to get back to Tulsa this spring to visit family and friends that I have not seen in five years, and would like the chance to put some faces with names.

Cheers! The sun is past the yard arm somewhere!

Sorry, but I have a weekly meeting with friends on Wednesday nights at McNellie's. I only get to see some of them once a week, so I'll have to miss.
