They did all that without once mentioning the word "logrolling".

Step 1: State funds our NBA team for $60mil, we'll fund your dams. Step 2: Draft measure outside of parameters. Step 3: OKC Profits.
Not really accusing them of doing it on purpose, but basically it is what happened. Now that there is nothing they need from us, lets see if the measure passes again. I say 3:1 against.

This is slightly different than the logrolling accusation regadring V2025, as I understand it; primarily, this wasn't a voter initiative, it was horse trading by the state legislature. And that's the thing -- while it's easy to go back and fix, it's subject to political will at a given time. And there's not likely any political will. What particular interest is the OK Supreme Court serving on this deal?
Some OKC haters might think this was intentional. I sort of doubt it. But it sucks. It's really an academic issue regarding that budget decision, not law for the sake of a particular interest.

Don't forget that the OKC part of the bond issue, $25 million for the Native American center ***has already been paid out*** and it's only the rest of the state funding, $25 million for Dams in Tulsa and $25 million for flooding in the rest of the state that isn't paid.
And likely never will be.
Unless of course Oklahoma City gets another share of the pie.
We hath been shafted, yet again.

Was Fent hired by OKC? He only objected to the other parts of the bill. "Fent challenged two of the three projects in the bill — $25 million for the Tulsa-area low-water dams and another $25 million for flood-control projects throughout the state." Link to second article"Chamber President and CEO Mike Neal said, "We continue to offer Tulsa's support for the conservation project funding and are positive our partners in Oklahoma City will support both projects just as Tulsa supported its funding for the American Indian Cultural Center in the legislative session last year."" I too see flying pigs.

Zombie blood, straight from Jamaica. That stuff is expensive. But it's either pay up or ship em all the purple sticky punch in the state. Heads are opposed to the latter; naturally.
