No. She got carried away and looked for things that weren't there. Race shouldn't be added to any tax conversation.

The tea-baggers are insincere because they didn't care when Bush was ruining the economy and growing the federal government, but they aren't racist for that.

Power is nothing till you use it.

Okay all of you who tend to lean to the left, any of you buy any of her arguments?  Really?

WOW!
Janeane is like Hannity or O'Reilly, or any of the other right-wing nozzles, except she doesn't have a steady gig funded by left-wingers to keep her on TV every night talking her over the top smile.

That, and she actually was funny at one point. Like Dennis Miller.

You are such a freakin idiot. I guess that exchange between Olberdoosh and Garafalo was not ideological and pure journalism.

She had a steady gig funded by left wingers, remember Air America? That went over like a turd in a birthday cake.

No.... that's not right.  It went over like a fart in church.

And, Garofalo may ruin my '24' experience this season.

+1 Natham!

Guido, we don't take our marching orders, or tea bags, from KO or JG or any other "left wing liberal commentators" like you guys that take your cues from the many reactionary wingnut directors. The clear majority in this country sing to the same tune of equality and fairness. Not many US citizens still subscribe to creationist news. But those that do showed up at all the "teabag" parties.

Dennis Miller is a dork that got lucky. He was good on SNL...

That reminds me, gotta bail and get my ducats for BILL MAHER TONIGHT!

I'll be there, but I'll probably be square, too. I don't take my marching orders from Bill. I often disagree with him, but that's OK in my book. Sadly, none of my Republican friends seem to think it's OK to go see someone who you don't agree with on everything, so it's just me and 7 of my left leaning friends. ;)

I watched "Politically Incorrect" (years ago) for a while.  Then it became obvious that the show was not going to be a discussion of ideas when 3 lefties + Bill ganged up on one token conservative.  The conservative was hardly able to answer a question without being bombarded with another attack or being outshouted and told how stupid he was.  I don't know how they got anyone to the right of Ted Kennedy to even show up.  Maybe they paid well.  That's when I stopped watching Bill.  (Maybe that's where Rush and his kind learned their technique.)

Dave Letterman had some funny spots about W.  I thought most of the "Presidential moments" were entertaining.  About a month before last November's election, Dave started to get pretty vicious in his rhetoric.  I haven't watched him since.

I don't find it entertaining to repeatedly told that I have to be the lowest, pond scum sucking,......lifeform to believe somethng other than what the speaker believes.

It's good to know what the "enemy" is thinking but I think I'll pass on an evening of being insulted.

By that same token though, I don't like being told by Neo-cons (I have a few that I work with) that I'm unpatriotic if I don't support the war in Iraq, which I don't.  To which I reply "I support all the troops there, but the war, no".  They also tell me I'm no better than a murderer if I support a woman's right to choose.

I ask them what flavor of Kool-Aid they're drinking that week.
