You could try sending the Postmaster a letter but I bet it gets lost :D

I did send a letter to the Postmaster, it came back undeliverable, no such address.

Put a little baking soda in an envelope and leave it on the counter. Be sure to look squarely at the camera as you walk out. . . . they'll be in touch.

That was tight.....lol....

I never had any luck finding a valid contact when I tried,

Seems they have disconnected most of their phone lines and retreated into their own little world.
The website is beyond useless.

Has anyone else had any luck with a mail holds?

Every time I try it either doesn't get held at all or it doesn't get resumed until days after it's supposed to. Then they call at 5am to ask if I want my accumulated mail delivered, after that's the choice I've previously indicated on the online form.

I recently filled out a mail hold form on the website for a couple weeks in the future. But I'm fairly certain they've begun holding my mail now. Haven't gotten any at all this week and I know several things should've arrived.

The downtown PO phone just rings and rings. The 1800 number disconnects me after I select the correct option. I doubt I'll be getting any mail for a few weeks, then I'm sure they'll resume delivery when I'm out of town.

You'd think a mail hold was a difficult request the way they manage to butcher it every time.

C Everette Coop warned us of this.  Post Master General wants to be your health care provider.

Right, silly. No, the Feds. The postal service is the best operation they have.
