Great tip for Parents

We have a 9 month old little boy who goes through a ton of diapers, formula, and baby food.  Last week while feeding her Craig's List addiction, my wife found several offers for diapers and baby food for pennies (actually $5).

Apparently a very large chain store carries organic diapers and baby food, but is not able to sell any because of the exorbitant prices compared to Gerber or Pampers, so they dump it months before the expiration dates.  That's what the lady told her anyway.

For $5, we bought enough baby food, formula, teething crackers, snacks and diapers to last until the kid is 15 (hopefully he is not still in diapers by then).  The diapers are the expensive organic bio-degradable type, and they seem to perform "under-load" just as well as the eternal Pamper.

We need a storage unit just to store all the stuff.  It cut at least $300 a month off of our grocery expenses.

You can probably find a storage unit for about $350/month.

Some women on craigslist are also buying formula and diapers using their WIC and/or other assistance and then selling it.
