Wow. http://www.ktul.com/news/stories/0509/623088.html

Did not realize he was that bad.

Wayman Tisdale will always be remembered as a wonderful human being and a great Tulsa Ambassador.

Dang...easily my favorite Sooner basketball player.

The man embraced life to the fullest...and always had that amazing smile!

God Bless you Wayman!!

What the hell? I didn't even know he was ill. Crap.

Someone get Hoss a pacifier.

A great Tulsan and Sooner.  He will be missed.  Hopefully a memorial or park can be named in his honor.  LL Tisdale Parkway is named after Wayman's father.

I had the privilege of listening to him play at a mini jazz fest they had last fall @ All Souls.  IIRC he ended his set with heavy jazz remix of his It's Alright: http://www.imeem.com/people/7rJ9Xt/music/B_bSAIU4/wayman-tisdale-its-alright/ :( :( :(

I just emailed the church, hoping they can direct me to a copy of his performance.

I thought he was doing better after the amputation. This is really sad news. A tremendously great man.

I heard him play live several times,  I will miss that.  It is a great loss to Tulsa.

One of the biggest and best smiles ever.  I had thought he was going out on tour again after the awards ceremony in April.  I really can't believe the cancer beat him, I always thought it would be the other way around.

seeing his smile and attitude on tv last night, i thought that spending a few hours with him would give so many people hope and a positive outlook on things,  then i read this news about his passing... my condolences to his family and many friends.
