Lawsuit Filed Against Mayor Kathy Taylor in Novus Development Deal

If the Mayor was not authorized to sign on behalf of TDA and she did so with respect to the land involved in the Greenwood Development Corp transaction, then I agree there is a real problem with that transaction.  However, I still do not see how Novis has standing to raise that issue with respect to its contract to negotiate with TDA regarding a different parcel of land.

FWIW, here is how they allege it enters into the NOVUS deal:

The lawsuit states that Taylor's action not only inappropriately freed the site for the ballpark, it allegedly influenced existing Development Authority relationships to allow the Tulsa Stadium Trust to procure other land for surrounding development, including a parcel that Novus was negotiating to redevelop.

Sounds tenuous, but is probably enough to go forward in the lawsuit, at least long enough to conduct more discovery.  Thanks Oil Capital.
