"Sarah Palin is accusing President Obama's health care plan of looking to create a "death panel" that would weigh whether her parents or son Trig were "worthy of health care."

Republican infrastructure is so honeycombed with closeted homosexuals, adulterers, drug users, domestic abusers, gun toters...Republican Gomorrah. We are dying for their closeted suppression.

"Many of the [right wing] movement's leading figures are united by more than political campaigns; they are bound together by a shared sensibility rooted in private trauma. Their lives have been stained by crisis and scandal -- depression, mental illness, extra-marital affairs, struggles with homosexual urges, attraction to drugs and pornography, serial domestic abuse, and even murder."

You sheep stay out of the book stores. We would not want you turning on the hateful, insincere, and intimidating yokels that run your wrongful propaganda machine.

Read Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel's (Rahm's brother who has an official advisory capacity with this admin on health care) papers on the topic.  Gov. Palin is a nutbag, but she's not far off base on this.

She's so far off base on this that you'd have to be a Dumf*ckistanian to believe her fear-mongering. Oh, wait a sec...  ;D

Kos had fun with this one which I'm sure will get a giggle or two:

A "nutbag"? How so Conan. The fact that she has been attacked mercilessly for over one year now, including by the "Trig trufers" out there? She has an opinion and has every right to express it, even if it is hyberbole. Here is a video of what I guess is another nutbag making the same point, and Rep. Dingell's response (which incidentally gives credence to Sarah's point):
Someone get Hoss a pacifier.

Guido, that's my opinion based on her behavior.  Per my comments, I'm not focusing on the messenger, just the message.  What scares me is I think she really believe's she's a viable candidate for POTUS in 2012.

Let's get back to the Emanuel papers.

Funding for abortions via medicaid to control undesireables in our population?

'"Here's what Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg said in Sunday's New York Times Magazine: "Frankly I had thought that at the time [Roe vs. Wade] was decided," Ginsburg told her interviewer, Emily Bazelon, "there was concern about population growth and particularly growth in populations that we don't want to have too many of."

The comment, which bizarrely elicited no follow-up from Bazelon or any further coverage from the New York Times -- or any other major news outlet -- was in the context of Medicaid funding for abortion. Ginsburg was surprised when the Supreme Court in 1980 barred taxpayer support for abortions for poor women. After all, if poverty partly described the population you had "too many" of, you would want to subsidize it in order to expedite the reduction of unwanted populations'

Meaning the poor and disadvantaged.  This ought to leave you speechless, FOTD.  Oh, wait, wait, I know.  I took those comments out of context because I'm an angry white man and I've not denounced the shout-downs by the birthers. I'm also fearful of powerful Jewish women too.

Wow someone really did name their kid Trig.  Could people who would be crazy enough to do that really make better judgments for a child's future than an expert death panel?

Yep, but when a guy mails a dead fish to an adversary or drives a knife into a table shouting "dead" to his political enemies, we don't call him a nutbag we make him a president's chief of staff. Have you called Rahmbo a "nutbag"?

Actually it was something less polite than "nutbag".  ;)

Um, if you haven't heard, the Senate is stripping the "death panel" provision from its bill.

Ever heard of the Westby's here in town...They have a son named Trig....

cynical

Close, but not quite.  His real name is John Trygve Westby.  He answers to Tryg.  It sounds the same, so the mistake is understandable.  I'm not trying to be pedantic.  It just comes naturally, especially when the mistake is someone's name.

Palin proven correct as the once "non-existent" death panels now removed from the Senate bill.

First it was Cheney and interrogation pictures and now Palin with death panels. Who's next to own Obama?
